As a family-run business, we feel our close-knit team offers something a little bit special too. We really enjoy what we do providing quality marquees and a large range of furniture for events all over the South West and South Wales for over 30 years!

Niki Ardern

Director/Event Manager - South Wales

Niki’s heart lies in sourcing unusual interior decoration for the marquees and helping customers to make them all look amazing. She undertook a Theatre Design degree at college – which shows in the perfect choices she makes when mixing colours and textures. She is the driving force with regard to trends and themes, constantly checking what the latest “up and coming” look is and making sure we can provide that for our discerning customers. As well as being one of our directors, Niki is the mother of three – which keeps her pretty busy at all times. Life gets a little hectic at times making sure that all the family are in the right place at the right time, but somehow she manages to do everything with a cheery smile!

Dave is very much a hands-on MD who really prefers to be out in all weathers putting up marquees than in the office looking at reports and figures. He is our Traditional Marquee expert and derives great satisfaction from having teams of men hauling and tugging on ropes creating fabulous Marquees in beautiful surroundings. As he works so closely with all the marquee erectors he is the one who puts them together in teams so they have the right experience, drivers or labourers between them that each individual job requires.

When he is relaxing he spends time in the kitchen creating amazing curries, taking inspiration from his many travels and holidays abroad. His other great love is rugby and he often travels to support his local team or watching international matches on the television with his friends.

Director/Event Manager - Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Bristol, and Somerset

Danielle is always up-beat and busy and goes that extra mile to make sure that everything runs exactly as her customers expect. She leaves nothing to chance and can usually be found pouring over customer's files and checking that nothing has been overlooked. She loves to keep fit, but these days her time in the gym has been overtaken by her two little boys who keep her very busy racing about.

Event Manager - Monmouthshire, Powys, Herefordshire

Emma has been with the company for years and fitted in right from the start. She has a plethora of contacts in the wedding industry which is extremely useful for all our brides, being able to help in all aspects from venues to veils, food to florists, or even cars to caterers! She enjoys getting to know her customers really well and being able to source their exact requirements – no matter what they ask for.

At home, she is a whiz in the kitchen (we all benefit when she tries something new), is the mother to three children, and enjoys decorating her home with lovely homemade decorations – in short, a domestic goddess.

Aynsley Jones

Aynsley come to us from an electrical and engineering background – not what you would instantly think of as being needed in the marquee world, but when you take into account all the lighting and generators that we use, it makes perfect sense. He is a brilliantly calming influence out on-site – taking time to make sure that every little thing is finished perfectly, using his thorough knowledge of how the marquees are put together to maximum effect.

When he isn’t out on site you could go and cheer him on the sidelines while he plays for his local football team – or we often catch him with his hand in the biscuit barrel when he comes into the office for no apparent reason!

Rebecca Bruce Gardner

We would all be lost without Rebecca who does all the “background” work without which everything would fall apart. She books all the sub-hires, checks all the stocks, keeps tabs on what furniture is going where and is our link between the office and the warehouse. In addition to that, she is our IT department and you can frequently hear a little cry of “Beck, my computer…..” to which she comes running.

Actually, Beck must run everywhere. When you realise that she has two small children who she is often out and about with, frequently brings in cakes that she has made, has taken up hand-knitting, sews clothes (including a brilliant “Frozen” costume for her little girl), and when she isn’t doing that she has a horse which she visits every day, it makes you wonder if she actually has a time machine at home.
